Bryanna K. Rowley
Instructor / Choreographer
Bry is a dancer from the New England area and has studied dance education her entire adult life. She began dancing when she was two years old and has never looked back! Bry grew up in a studio setting, surrounded by many individuals from multiple walks of life. From her technique classes, competitive dance training, community performances, master classes, and teacher workshops, she has always found joy in storytelling and community engagement. The relationships that are built through dance are irreplaceable and will forever be a part of her life. She graduated from the Dance Education Training Course in 2010 and went on to become a member of the Dance Teacher’s Club of Boston soon after. This is where local studios, from the New England area, come together and share new, fun ideas and opportunities to further their students’ education. Bry went on to study dance at Roger Williams University through their dance major, theater arts, dance team, and dance club programs. In each setting, she was able to understand what it takes to not only be a choreographer, but a teacher. As much as she loved performing, her true love was being able to create. Henry David Thoreau said; “It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.” Movement through dance has limitless possibilities. It can make you see the world differently, even just for a moment. But the impact is everlasting. After she graduated RWU in 2015, she went on to teach and choreograph for many different studios with a variety of expectations. This pushed her insecurities and gave her so many gifts to pass on to her students for generations to come. Bry’s only wish for her students is to never forget how special a dance family is, and that no matter what life brings, they can always find joy in what they create together. “Creativity doesn’t wait for the perfect moment. It fashions its own perfect moments out of ordinary ones.” ~Bruce Garrabrandt
